python new test framework is required. updated in this fork
The behavior for
key = -1, 0, 1is not clear. Python does not test these numbers. Ruby tests-1and expectsshift = 1(most likely, it is a mistake).Python new test framework should be used (Refer this & this for more detail)

Hi, I corrected a sentence in the description ("then we add or substract the value" -> "then we add the value" since adding negative values is... ;) )
