I can add any amount of bacteria each morning... so the answer is always one day??
Since this has the same solution as existing katas, it might make it more interesting and unique to add an extra argument.
bacteria(x, n)
where n defines the rate at which the bacteria multiplies (so not just2x
).But might still have same solution as an existing, I am not sure.
That is really a nice suggestion but i really dont know how to solve the problem when n is variable.
Well that would be the first challenge then ;)
That would turn this kata into yet another base-conversion task.
Give bacteria a lifespan? That would really change the task.

Same solution -> duplicate.
I prefer this kata (better without hint), but it's too late.

spoiler flags to the rescue... ;o
That is exactly my point, as the linked he shared for the duplicate kata, that question is answer to this question and he spoiled this kata by giving away the exact answer lol. We cant say 2+2 is same as differentiating x^2 at x = 2.
