There's already a kata of a bijective binary converter. Does it add anything if the addition is not mandated to be done without converting to normal integers?
That's the question: does it? Even with the planned sequel for subtraction, I don't know. I can't make conversion impossible, just encourage people not to.
It adds addition, but I don't know if that's enough; I'm letting the community decide by voting ( I asked for reviews on a
Draft
, but did not get them ).I now see from your solution
BigInt
has not been adequately disabled. Also, scratch one puppy. It is of course quite impossible to adequately disable
BigInt
( there will always be shortcuts left open ); I don't blame you for circumventing the restrictions, but I'm not entirely holding it against the kata that you could either. The task may just make not a good kata, that is a distinct possibility. CW is more or less limited to kata, so not all tasks are appropriate for the platform.
The question remains: does [ this task ] [ add enough, in some, possibly this, form ] ?
