I spent over two hours trying to convert the schedule to Date objects, succeeded, realised that i dont really need it and solved the actual problem in a minute. Awesome kata, 10/10, would do it again :D

in "Arguments" section:
change "candies: like this:" to "candies: packets of items, like this:"

in "How to let the children satisfied?" section:
add "4 - Packets cannot be divided, each child gets a full packet"

Thats should stop anyone from making the same mistatke we did. I had fun with this kata, thank you for making it :D

I misunderstood the description too, imho you should specify that each child can only get one full element of candies array.
