For the record, covfefe was made into a kata the day it became a thing:

To be honest, I wasn't very up to date on this affair, and I just wanted to make a kata. Ultimately I think pepe the frog is still just a silly meme. Some people use knives to hurt others; does that mean I should stop using a knife to cut my food? A word, shape or other symbol does not become universally bad just because a group of people use it for hate. Your intervention is making me worried that people might stumble upon this and get the wrong idea. I can't find the un-publish button anymore, is there a way to hide or un-publish approved katas?

Ah my mistake, I misunderstood the instructions. Thank you!

There was nothing inherently hateful about a swastika or a burning cross either. (The swastika in particular was a religous symbol going back thousands of years.) They became hate symbols because they were used by hate groups as a symbol to express racist ideals. For a couple of years now it has become a symbol of hate for alt-right and nativist movements. It is now listed by groups like the Anti-Defimation League as hate symbol and is rampant in hate group intenet exchanges, having been adopted as a symbol.

That is how hate symbols evolve. I guess people don't care. That's sad.

In which language? If there is only one rare pepe, return the pepe's name as a string. If there is more than one rare pepe, return a list of the rare pepes' names. (If no pepe has a frequency of less than 5, return "No rare pepes!")

I'm getting the right pepes, but sometimes it asks for the answer with brackets, sometimes without. Is this intentional, or is there an error with the kata?

Quite a weird story, that. There is nothing hateful about the character itself.
