The problem may be that node version 8 is no longer supportedi in 2020 yet that seems to be the only version that we have the option of using on CODEWARS

Something wrong with this kata or CODEWARS itself. I've tested every test case in my IDE and it works perfectly, I produce the correct results. But when I enter it here it's wrong.

It may have to do with the implementation of the sort function. I don't know and don't really care because the 1kyu bros in the comments are not actually being helpful
