Welllll .. admittedly, we're four years later. But random tests would be nice.

In Javascript, zero divided by zero is NaN and nonzero divided by zero is Infinity (or -Infinity, depending on the sign of the nonzero number). Anything modulo (remainder) by zero is NaN.

Nice little test. One bit was a little confusing.

0 means the proposed digit is correct
1 means the proposed digit is lower than the correct one
-1 means the proposed digit is higher than the correct one

Took me a few minutes and a number of attempts before I figured out I was reading it wrong. You migh be able to write a bit more clearly perhaps.

I agree. I think examples in the description are always a good idea. Though I'd format the examples like:

Examples:
numberToString(123); // returns '123';

I think this kata's good to go. The lack of examples isn't a huge deal because the description clear.

Down the road, it could be a very cool feature if the community could collectively 'take over' a kata that's having problems and the creator seems to not be around.

I heard rumor that there's only going to be one level 8 dan. Jake's been pretty tight-lipped about it but I was able to figure out that it has something to do with creating an artificial intelligence. After I got that much out of him he just started rambling about judgement day.
