Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

The grammar is fine, the only errors are that you call it an "electron shell" then later call it an "electron shield". I just think the description should explicitly describe what the return array is.
Not a native speaker (as you probably are), but even so (or more so) I found the original description pretty clear and your suggestions seem to reword a part of it I got already.

A description of the return array should be included in the instructions. The return array is a representation of the number of atoms in each shell. The first element in the array is the number of elements in the first shell, and so on.
