Could you explain why you decided to translate a kata which you didn't solve and didn't care to learn how other people's solutions work to implement it correctly?

Sorry, my Python translation is ready since long (as many other translations) but I am waiting for the kata (still in beta) being approved:-(

You are right, the example in the description does not correspond the test cases. You should add an Issue to this kata.
The format is H:mm.ss, not HH:mm.ss
Well this is most likely the fastest solution. ^^
