Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

I'll play the devil's advocate here, but he's complaining about why was his kata retired and this one didn't. They're not exactly duplicates and this one is a little more complex imho.
This kata was made a year before you joined the site, so it's not a duplicate of yours.
On the kata descrption page you can scroll down and see when it was created.
But, this one looks a bit different than yours. Usually those PUs will notice a duplicate fast.
Plus, it's been here for a couple years and no downvotes. Really? Except it's not approved.
i mean they might not know its a duplicate
Okay, but it says '100% of 4' which means 4 people voted and all were a "very".
da running race kata
It's not retired, what looks suspicious?
Why does this look suspiciously like my retired kata?
It's a good kata, I hope you do remake it. Just needs a more explicit description. :)
I think you might be right. Either way, the description I ended up with for this kata was way too confusing. I'm also not sure why I settled on allowing words to be preceded by
non-word character
s in the description instead of just^
\n
\r
I believe I had in mind that words could "contain" hyphens but not end with them, but that's not fully clear from the kata description. Tempted to completely remake this without allowing spec creepI'm probably missing something but one of the random tests says that the phrase
:2\nzh(tjwuwna- tjwuwna-
should remain untouched but we havetjwuwna-
twice in a row only separated by whitespace so shouldn't the second one be removed? Is a word not allowed to end in a hyphen? I don't see that in the description.Have updated the description to make this clearer. Thanks :)
