Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

I agree this task is 6 kyu at best. It's basic math in its field with lots of resources online. It's only 4 kyu for people that don't know the math involved and refuse to lookup anything online. That being said, it was deemed 4 kyu at the time of approval, and I don't like that we change ranks from kata's of the past according to the so called temporary reference scale. Let's keep this one as an easy 4 kyu.
Is this comment supposed to make you look smarter than the rest of us?
By analogy to primes, try
nlog(n)
, for all3 < n < 100,000
, it seems thatludic(n)
is betweennlog(n)
and2nlog(n)
.Randints should be producing 12 and 7s, even if they aren't, the prior tests should cover.
Its just testing out of bounds and invalid strings
Can't believe I missed that, thank you.
I now state that, for the sake of this kata, workers never work more than 12 hours in a given day
I can not agree with your point of view. This kata deserves 4kuy rank. Personally, I worked two days on it.
much better now, thanks
Also add a test case where the discount compensation is bigger than 1 and the available price is not the left most one.
add your edge case tests also in the sample tests!
There must be something VERY WRONG with this kata!
With the coordinate (-101.572654585255 , -111.898313933494), the RIGHT answer should be 7, this is my proof: https://ggbm.at/cr6Rg3Nf
Hi massacre-nrj,
This kata is solved many times before, there is no error in the kata.
The link is just somebody else's solution to this kata (without acknowledgement), it is more fun to think of your own solution ;)
Cheers, Frank
Hi... I don't understand. If I follow your link than 227.8 should be 16.
