As long as a solution is written in accordance with the kata requirements and not written to bypass anti-cheats, then it is a valid one.

The current kata is already in js language. I will try and make this available also in PHP.

NOTE: This is a mac address converter - canonical to token ring format, if you need the program to just change a mac address in any way, this should be a separate Kata.

that's pretty creative, I don't think I could have thought of that (at the time of writing the kata I wasn't very good at coding.)
