I don't know C, it seems that the initial solution should be int slicecake(int n).

Why is it that we are assured that the input will be an int but in the C version the input is declared as a float. I was running into panic mode when my solution was proving buggy .... Kindly change the input parameter to be of type int not float.

I took your changes to the kata. (I did it in the kata and not by approving because of differences in the descriptions, that lead to problems in approving.)
