You solved a 4 kyu challenge with 0 kyu thinking, very creative.
Has anyone been able to complete this in JavaScript recently? I can pass all tests except the last and third from last. My result for the latter is "THE QUICK BROWN FOX JUMPS OVER TH E LA ZY DOG". My approach may be wrong but, if so, it's strange that it's this close to passing every test.
