1 and 2 are not consecutive NegaFibonacci numbers, they are separated by -1.

Interesting idea. I wouldn't be surprised if an analytical result would involve irrational numbers, just as the analytical expression for the n'th Fibonacci number involves the golden section. From my own implementation of the solution, I'm able to extract an m x m matrix M and intialize a vector v such that the last component of M^n x v yields the result. I'm just too lazy to compute the eigenvectors or the singular value decomposition of M.
