Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.
Get started now by creating a new collection.
I managed to solve it. It might not be advanced as far as music theory goes, but it certainly felt advanced to me O_o.
I'll try your new kata soonish. You are on a roll with authoring lately!
There really isn't anything advanced about it ;) btw, I made an easier kata just for you: https://www.codewars.com/kata/6384c9ec84c67000230a15f1 ;)
Mhmmm, the last set of sample tests mentions 2 people who have done things in this field, and we care about one of them.
So I've had two different solutions so far which pass all sample tests, but there is consistently 15-20 random tests which seem to break every pattern I find. I'm guessing the same thing happened for @LewisSaber here. I'm currently just rerolling random tests over and over trying to get lucky :)
That's how beta testers rank kata's these days ... on another note, it's not that difficult either, just follow the sample tests, and you'll find the solution.
How is this 6kyu O_o
As best I can tell, this requires advanced music theory

100/120 random tests, i give up
Should have added test to check if function params are passed in right order
why not to use .includes() instead .indexOf()?
This is too easy for 3 kyu kata, still fun
Ty for this kata! Did it without any googling, took a while, it feels so cool to find your own way to do things without someones help, im so excited
no need for r in pattern string
Disregard
