The time out only happens because your solution failed the infinite list test case, which for some reasons caused QuickCheck to hang up.

You're asking the wrong question.

Since the task asks you to check if it takes exactly ten minutes, the more useful question would be how to check that instead ;-)

The string can contain any char.
