I think it's a rule in Codewars that no matter how hard the kata is, there is always someone who finds a 1-line solution.

@dfhwze Hey! The problem in your solution is that you need to reverse aliens arr. I mean when the input is [30,14,27,21,13,0,15,17,0,18,26] that means that first alien that will appear is 30, not 26.
I've checked when I reversed input array I received exactly 25 lives lost as you did!

Great kata! TD was one of my favorite types of games, I remember the times when we're playing them as custom games on Warcraft III with my best friend on lan... Thank you for letting me plunge into memories! :-))
