Wow 4 years ago haha I'm sorry about this. I still get overflows when I switched to uint64_t. I changed the sample test code to get it to work for the test cases but the full attempt still has the overflow issue for me.

Python: in the description, sample, and basic test: Why does 3012 should output NE: 2 and NO: 31 ? Why the zero is being left out?

The random test clearly expects zero to be included. And the description even mention that 0 is considered as an even number.
