Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

What if your friend is called "daspicy"?
In this kata arguments order constant or can be(type, name)? By final test it is looks like but this is not clear from description
I would not describe "inconsistent" as "super simple".
If you want to keep it simple, have consistently placed variables for the arguments. You could pass
undefined
for the name, but don't pass nothing at all.Ha! I thought of that but just want to keep it super simple. At least for this version!
Thanks for the feedback! I followed your suggestion and used assertDeepEquals instead of assertSimilar. It's my first kata so I'll read about using random tests.
Testing should be improved. More tests, including random ones, and using
assertDeepEquals
instead ofassertSimilar
(because the insertion order of properties isn't specified, andObject
s don't have a guarateed property order anyway). How are you going to handle your friend "spicy"?
