Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.
Get started now by creating a new collection.

Solution is much easier than i thought before, good kata
are you sure that the test cases you print are those you fail ? I suspect that you were printing the island after having mutated it. I tried your code and it always fails the random tests in the same fashion: the starting point contains some gold (
$
) and it seems like you fail to collect it, so you have an extra step that you should not have:I'm closing as the issue seems to be coming from your code. Feel free to present more information.
I am having trouble passing the fourth test. It says it took too much time but I can't seem to figure out why. It ssems pretty fast on my computer. Can anyone help me see why ? I can post my code if you would like.
Thanks for the exercise anyway !
Yeah, I'm also struggling with the description on another billiards kata. Not our strongest point ;)
ohhh... thx dfhwze. I thought it would never be approved. Now it is easier to write the description, I could use chatgpt. But, in honor of legacy bad English, I will leave it untouched.
Damn bro, it was a joke, chill down.
Really? Grow up / relax / evolve. You do realize that if you solve a kata, nothing is going to happen to you?
You just punch in the chars, get a solution, get honor points, understand more coding, move on with your life...
Um yeah, no-one is forcing you to do a kata where you "go on some journey of self-reflection on the delicacy of your identity"... so yeah, you can easily just quietly SKIP those kata (and hold fast your petty judgement) from now on if they are so offending that you feel so personally challenged to the point where you are compelled to make an actual comment on it.
"You are a young human lady and your fiancé is an ogre."
Yo, I dont want to be a young human lady, why would you enforce this upon me.
stay on topic
.
approved at some point
you need to "extract" the inputs of those failing tests =>
console.log
(this might become your best friend for the next few weeks)hi, i have a problem using javascript, i have a solution, static unit test running successfully, most of the ramdon testing running successufully but some failed for instance 190 ok 14 fail, even i tried to test every example in this discussion log and every example is working, i am confusing
