Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

plz can u explain why u wrote it like that?
like how it came to u to think about it
because you have
using namespace std;
, the compiler thinksislower
is referring to the one in<locale>
, not the one in<cctype>
. either remove theusing
, or disambiguate the function reference with the::
operator:::islower
.yuh

but the return value will be retuned as an integer. it won't convert to a char. that's not what you want the function to do

only to see what the output will look like
It's lambda-function, which finds out is number even (return true) or not (return false).
The bullets must be made of silver, and the dragons are allergic to silver, that's why they hoard gold!
Yeah
hi,
tried it on godbolt,
the resulting assembly-code will be the same,
so there's no real difference.
From my point of view it's just a habit to mark
any cast with the available keywords..
even in katas, it just grew into my muscle memory.
Source of the habit might be this: "https://isocpp.github.io/CppCoreGuidelines/CppCoreGuidelines" (chapter ES.49) some but not all went in our companies codestyle-guide, so i'm just used to it.

They're poisoned anti-dragon bullets.
