It's a strange hack that allows you to get an array of a particular size with nothing in each space, then "join" all the nothings together with the character you're actually interested in. So, if you "join" such an array of size 4 that you create this way with "*", you'll get "***".
Hi, I am trying to understand Array.apply(0,...) Does the 0 just mean this is null?
