For me 8 kyu kata is exactly about using built in function. In description there is not limitations about it.

Wow! That was actually a really good kata. I thought it was kinda bs at first because we didn't get a task, but it was an excellent puzzle. Although, it did take me a while.

There is no way I wrote out an if statement for each function when I could've done this. I feel ashamed.
