I'm at 140 without defaults and I agree that I can't see a good reason for using defaults

This looked like a wonderful idea but you can't set a default value with an expression using the other variables. Am I missing something?

I'm down to 151. You know how you can set defaults for variables in function declarations? You can do the same thing with a lambda.
