Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

I'm justifying what StoppingBuck said. Sometimes regex isn't the best practice. In this case, however, it would appear to be.
So, what you're saying is, your statement has no bearing on the kata at hand.
"so sometimes it isn't the best way to do things"
Key word: sometimes
Javascript can be very slow, so sometimes it isn't the best way to do things.
Haskell can be very slow, so sometimes it isn't the best way to do things.
Lists can be very slow, so sometimes they aren't the best way to do things.
Arrays can be very slow, so sometimes they aren't the best way to do things.
Arithmetic can be very slow, so sometimes it isn't the best way to do things.
It's a tool. You use the appropriate tool for the appropriate situation. This is an appropriate situation for regex.

Ahh... I love the sight of regex in the morning. This one is genius. Not sure if it's best practice (as it's perhaps a bit opaque), but definitely clever!
