I think the difficulty of the task determines not only by the difficulty of the solution, but also by the running time issue. In my case, I needed to check several solutions before I found the one that allowed me not to exceed the runtime and I spent a lot of time to get it working. Normally when I solve katas of 7th level, I never have to worry about performance issue.
