Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

I laughed so hard when I saw the issues and the non-English description
And I laughed even harder when I successfully submitted my solution.
8kyu
Kata and many (8kyu Kata) are harder than this.Traducción Española:
8kyu
Kata y muchos (8kyu Kata) son más difíciles que esto. The Kata author has added an English translation to the description.
and he should also make something more challenging...
P.S.: I got more fun translating from spanish to english... :-D
should also put it in English
Not that I'd like to see non-English-only kata on a regular basis, Spanish looks like a nice puzzle. It's OK-ish to read since there're a lot of words of Roman origin in English.
función -> function, devuelve -> devolves, contenedor -> container, código -> code, recibir -> recieve, datos -> data, entrada -> entrance, otro -> other, permite -> permits, ejecutarla -> execute, tipo -> type, caracteres -> characters, caso -> case, hola -> hello, idea -> idea, resolver -> resolve
Left to be learned are pretty much most basic words. The hardest thing is cadena.
Algunas cosas a tener en cuenta:
8kyu
A few things to note:
8kyu
- and this is an Issue not just my personal opinion in this case because even the two entry-level Kata in this site, Multiply and Broken Greetings (couldn't find the link to it for some reason - the Kata must have been retired or something) are somewhat more challenging than this. I can't remember which Codewarrior said this (in another Kata) but metaphorically speaking, you don't learn algebra just to sign up for a class on basic arithmetic. If you don't know the language, then skipt it...
I thought is was cool to see spanish, so I gave it a go. I'm also trying to
learn spanish as well as programming.
Your audience will be greater if you write your kata in English.
For all of me, you can compose them in Klingon. I wouldn't be able to read that either.
All: Is it actually policy kata have to be written in English? Can you provide a reference for that?
I think your kata must be written in English.
The Language on CodeWars is english! Please change your description!
Should have more tests with different names to return, like "Hola " + name + ", bienvenido!"
