not a 5kyu kata. i spent around 3 days for a optimization 5kyu kata, eventually giving it up. this, i could solve in 1 min.

That means you didn't return anything. Try using print() statements to debug it.

Hi @ifeOSIFUYE, and issue is when the kata is faulty, not if you have problems with your code. You could instead post as a question. You need to account for case-insensitivity in your code.

No answer after a month, closing.

"Actual" -> 'a' occurs twice(A and a) since lower/upper should be ignored so expected IS 1
