The order is present - box, so in: [ 10, 10, 10 ], [ 50, 50, 4 ] you have a a present like a cube with sides of 10, and a rectangular box where it doesn't fit.

The dimensions provided of the box are the outer ones, you have to deduct the walls from it to get the inner available space. It's this case for instance:
