The part of me that thinks somebody somewhere is going to want to customize the scoring of the slot machine later, makes me like that you've put all the score values in a table.

This answer does not even consider trailing spaces. We need better test cases.

And btw: Do not change the input-parameter arrays...

This is no issue...
It might be a cw-problem or you have really an index-out-of-range-problem with your code.
