This accepts the email "Evil stuff you dont want in your database here\ntots-safe@mail.com" as a valid email.
A test for this kind of behaviour would really be great as many ruby programmers (myself included) use ^ and $ when we should use \A and \z
\n being the linebreak charcater if someone is confuesd
