I'm reading something about a semicolon being a seperator.

ok, I understand. But I see it in a few solutions, is there any stylistic reason someone would do that? Or is that a behavior that happens in other languages and is unneccesary in python but could be done if someone was inclined?

i see how my comment could imply that I think it makes a difference. I don't think it makes a difference unless the string nececitates one or the other.

I meant to say "I did the same thing, but with single quotes. It seems like this type of method (regardless of single or double quotes) is the best method."

I've seen this taught in a few beginner python courses like the videos on coderbyte unfortunately
