The question is more about arriving to the right conclusion (i.e. solving it in the way the author wants you to) and not about other correct answers. Sure, your answer works, and so would [0,1,2,3...198,199,200], etc. Think about how you would go about about dividing a span without a ruler. The only thing you have is the curtain.
