You can do a lot of programming without math, but some things can be done much better if you know math. The math in this problem is about finding the roots of a polynomial. Its Algebra.

You'll either have to change your approach (you're not using the good one, here), or you'll have to change the precision used (I did it that way too, that's not as simple as it seems... :/ )

I learned programming for fun, so I honestly don't have a good math background. I'm curious whether or not I need to learn math, and if so what specifically for this problem.
