My solution occasionally solves "invalid" boards generated randomly.

I was more asking for help, but I ended up solving it later. There were some edge cases I wasn't handling properly.
My code passes every single test, including several thousand randoms, except for basic test 25: "1 should equal 3". Has anyone else had trouble with it?
