I feel the same way. I did my solution with only the library that was given to us and I feel kind of misled after looking at the top solutions.

Try adding a null terminating character at the end of the array before iteration. I had a similar problem and that fixed it for me.

I did not realize that we were allowed to use other libraries than the one originally given to us :/
