I noticed this in the Python version of the kata, but it probably applies to some other languages.
Many of the Python solutions mutate the original sequence passed as the signature. While that behavior isn't strictly disallowed by the instructions, it isn't specifically requested, and is a bad practice in general.
Can we get the instructions clarified on this point and modify the tests to check that the list passed as a signature hasn't changed for each call?
