Loading collection data...
Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.
Get started now by creating a new collection.

Needs more tests and random test cases. Also seemed to be a bit easy for a 6kyu ranking.
This doesn't check that there is an opening parens or that the other characters are digits.

Regarding functional programming - thanks for the tip; I try and use it as much as possible, but my brain is still adjusting to using it in some situations.

Thanks for flagging HerrWatt and thanks for fixing Giacomo!
Thanks GiacomoSorbi! Great to have the Python, Ruby and Crystal translations in there too :)
Glad you both enjoyed the connection to cycling - it's always more fun to connect kata to real world situations, hobbies, or challenges.
Approved! Thanks for writing!
