I don't actually know how a kata gets "retired", and what the options are after that. I've never seen the option to "retire" on one of my own kata; I'm guessing you didn't do this yourself?

If you're going to provide initial code, usually you provide code that is, of course, not a fully correct solution, but at least compiles.

Also, no random tests.
