Collections are a way for you to organize kata so that you can create your own training routines. Every collection you create is public and automatically sharable with other warriors. After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

I don't see the cases: a + (b * c) and (a + b) * c here... am I missing something?

Exactly what I did -- why iterate the whole list if you find the outlier straight away!
Knowing that the tests could include some long lists, could it be worth testing the length of the even and odd lists as you go along?
You could have your outlier in the first three items, and save having to iterate the rest.
