After you have added a few kata to a collection you and others can train on the kata contained within the collection.

It is unclear what the actual question is. I only solved it from looking at the sample tests and plugging the info directly in.
It would be helpful to have the question explicity written after the story, with examples.

The description is a massive obsfucation to a
8kyuproblem. That goes to tell how bad the description is (and why it should really be fixed).It's a nice story. Some suggestions to improve the kata:

Okay, let's get this straight.
None of the code (initial code, author solution, test) are correct or functional at all.
Please unpublish the kata and fix all of them before putting it on beta.
(The description was nice though. Maybe next time you should spend the effort writing them to an actually interesting and functional kata ;-))
