When my "solution" consists of nothing but

It would be nice if the instructions would indicate if it's OK to mutate the original list. The instructions say to return a list, so it seems kind of silly to also mutate it.
This will mutate the original list as well as returning it. This may be correct, but the instructions are not clear as to whether that's OK or not.
