This was never ment to be a constraint. It was suoppose to be a guide of what the output should be.

Some notes and questions:

• What do you mean about "the actual answer"? Because the expected result is in the assertion message.
• The order of the operations is specified (Initial state and iterations). I guess the description is too long to remember all of it.
• The move output posibilities are specified in the function definition. I will add the word "only".
• I agree that no "neutral" move may confuse. But the most basic model does not have it and I think its unnessasery (for this exercise).
• The delimiter rule (blank symbol) is only there to specify that the output string should not be infinite, and should not include "extra" blanks. don't the equallity tests already check that? What type of implementation should fail but does not?
