I think you're looking at mean not MEDIAN. The median is 41.

Ok -I agree. This kata is already a bit difficult for 7kyu. I have no knowledge of Python myself but from what you say it does sound a bit messy. If I removed the ([]) case entirely from my description, would that mess up any of your translations? Sorry, new to this sort of thing!

I've added the ([]) to my test set in Javascript. Would you be able to include it in Python tests as well, please?
