Hahaha, I love the logic "There is an issue but I do not know how to solve it, so I close the issue", I wish it worked like this at my job too 😅

In my humble and unasked opinion, the purpose of opening issues is to find a solution for the problems, not to blame someone or making someone feel bad. In the end, there are thouthands of people on the platform, so maybe someone can come up with a good solution, this is why it makes sense to keep unsolved issue opened until it is actually solved 🤷‍♂️

I just did this GO katas during my introduction to language, so for sure it is not a best practice. People just express their oppinions by giving these upvotes, don't take them as something serious.
Good luck on your journey with Go, since I've lost interest to it pretty quick.

It definitely wasn't nice but he certainly has a point. WHen I first saw it, I right away jumped to the comments. I refuse to solve it if the solution involves duplicating every single pair. It's not mathematically correct and quite inefficient.

You inspired me to do the Haskell translation, and then I had to merge your description edits from your Go translation. :P It's a useful addition though; standard Haskell show 1.0 shows "1.0" instead of "1", and people will have to fix that. See what they come up with ..
