Maybe, but there's a bigger learning curve to go from an imperative language -> haskell than there is to code this in an imperative language that
either doesn't have support to make this trivial (or where that support isn't permitted)

Therefore the only people who should get an easy time, perhaps, are those for whom haskell is their first language.
