'First part of name', 'Second Part of Name' and 'Last part of name' sounds like a better title to you?

Nice kata! Yet, I had to guess how to sort the columns by date. If it could be made more clear on how to correctly sort the columns this kata would deffinately benefit.

Additionally, my solution was accepted without containing any join at all. Perhaps a test case to validate the presence of a join clause would solve that?

Good point, I didn't think to use the ::date type. That test is actually auto generated. I'll have to figure out how I can try to support both so that all of the old solutions don't get invalidated.

These tests are automatically genderated so relaxing them so far as I understand is impossible.

If I then require the use to return the Day of type DATE would mean explicit conversion in most cases which would as far as I see more ambiguous for anyone trying to complete the kata.

• just a side note, you keep raising these as issues when the kata still works fine without them. They should be raised as suggestions so it's easier to distinguish between what's an error with the kata or an improvement.

I've been trying to update a fix for awhile now and I did have one awhile ago but the recurring issues with republishing katas has stopped it from updating.

bear in mind this will be invalidating 160 solutions.
