In Wikipedia I see only /ɨ/ as a pronunciation of "y" in Polish. So in what words does it represent a consonant?
Hi! You are correct, in this case this is a vowel. 'Y' sometimes called a semivowel, as it can be both. However, I thought that it would be good to avoid uncertainty and excluded it from the vowels completely.
