The reference solution for the random tests is exactly the same as the one for the fixed tests. Now that you have passed the kata you could have a look at the tests and say why it is wrong? Thanks for your post.

mine also passed the test, the one that is weird is the random one. try to run it 10 times, it will pass in some of them and then you can submmit as I did. I Think expectation is wrongly generated

Java? 451 guys passed the Java kata so I'm pretty sure that the tests are not wrong. Sorry.

I think the random test is wrong, is not considering that fractions of seconds should be ignored, as indicated by instructions, and that is why it fails. I am almost sure, but maybe someone might no of another reason?
